Death Stranding Review

Death Stranding takes the worst parts of open world games and amplifies them. Some of the least entertaining parts of open world games include opening up the map and getting to the next mission, but Death Stranding ‘s entire mission structure is about completing objectives to open up the map and walking forever to get to the next mission. Players have to carry packages over significant distances during these missions, with some of the more extreme walks in the game taking upwards of 30 minutes, if not longer. There are times when players will walk forever, climb mountains, and more just to reach a place, only for the next mission to have them turn around and walk all the way back to where they came from. We recommend turning on a podcast or something when playing Death Stranding because it’s almost unbearable at times otherw

The plot of this contract follows Geralt and Syanna saving a goose from a group of bandits, and the goose will be so overjoyed that she produces a golden egg for Geralt. Unfortunately, this is another item that will leave Geralt’s inventory upon finishing his task in the Land of a Thousand Fables.

While players are out delivering packages and guzzling Monster Energy, they will notice structures and items that were left behind by other people playing the game. This is Death Stranding ‘s Social Strand System at work, and it’s easily the game’s best feature. We would go as far as to say that the Social Strand System is brilliant, and experiencing it for oneself almost makes putting up with the anime Game Crafting guide‘s many shortcomings worth

With both the rumors and the teaser taken into account, would the new Fable reboot perhaps take in more elements from classic fairy tales? After all, fans love the Fable series for its rather lighter (sometimes even comedic) take on fairytale concepts and tropes. For instance, the trailer featured a fairy being eaten by a frog – a bit of refreshing dark comedy right th

The next entry in the Fable series has finally been announced, but given how little of it was shown, speculation is running rampant. Fans are postulating on just what the game will be like, and a big question surrounding it is what the release window will look like. At the moment, there is literally nothing to go off of, as the last Fable game released was Fable Fortune and the rest didn’t follow any particular pattern. With that in mind, everything herein and found online is most likely speculation, and fans should take everything they see with a grain of salt unless it comes from an official sou

Just like Jasper, Walter is a loyal friend to the Hero throughout the entire game. While his story does have a tragic ending, no matter what choices the player makes, he’s still a guiding force for the Hero the whole time that he’s aro

If the Fable rumors are true, then it makes sense for fans to wonder about the previous cast. In the rumors, LagSwag1 detailed that the Heroes Guild and Theresa (the sister of the Hero of Oakvale in the first Fable ) survived the mad king’s catastrophes and now reside in another world. This detail implies Theresa, who has been a supporting character throughout the series, will still have an active role in this reboot. As such, it’s interesting to note who else might be present from the previous cast. Likewise, it’s interesting to see how they might be related to the new H

The new Fable trailer is similar to The Elder Scrolls 6 in a lot of ways, but there are some key differences as well. Regarding what the two have in common, they both are very vague, only revealing the title of the game and almost nothing else. Likewise, both end with a panning shot of an open landscape and don’t give any solid information regarding a release date. While these similarities are easy to see, the differences are a bit more obfusca

Four-leaf Clovers can be found throughout this realm as a replacement for the alchemy ingredients that usually litter the world of The Witcher 3. This was easily missed by a lot of players since they are not marked on the mini-map and do not have any significance in the quest.

As such, a Fable reboot from Playground Games shapes up to be a nice change of pace for RPG enthusiasts. However, with a decade past Fable 3 , just what can this reboot offer? Moreover, how would it be different from its predecessor? Are fans going to see a return to a more playful visual direction? Or is Fable going to make a darker t

Jasper has some funny voice lines throughout the game, including him trying not to say anything rude about the player’s chicken suit or trying to hide his fear while traveling underground near the beginning of the game. It’s always good to know that you’ll see a friendly face when going back to the Sanctuary while hearing that classic John Cleese s

Connecting the different outposts and isolated cities through the Chiral Network is another way that Death Stranding stresses its theme of cooperation. Each new person that is brought into the fold has a helpful item or upgrade for Sam, with generous rewards doled out on a regular basis. These items make Death Stranding progressively more fun to play, like an exoskeleton that makes it a bit easier to carry a lot of cargo without having to constantly balance Sam, or access to vehicles that can make those long walks much shorter. It’s clear that Kojima made those first 10 hours of Death Stranding so boring and tedious on purpose to hammer in the game’s theme of how cooperation is beneficial, and while some may scoff at that, it’s a pretty clever way for the game to make a point using gameplay instead of just in cut-sce
