News of Television Serials

The first television hot news for the day is about popular TV actor Aly Goni. It’s been reported that there will be a twist in the tale to the robotic character played by Ridhima Pandit who plays Rajni in Life OK’s popular show Bahu Humari Rajni Kant. Aly, who will soon be making an entry in the show will add more curiosity and it is surprising that it will be related to Rajni’s identity. The Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actor will be playing a cameo that will come in and introduce himself as Rajni’s husband. However, the fact will be that Shaan (Karan V Grover), who has given that girl’s face to Rajni and Aly will be that girl’s husband. With his wife being lost, Aly’s character will presume Rajni to be his wife. A source informed that Aly will be seen as a villain in the show who has come in to bring troubles to the Kant family. It will be interesting to see whether Aly’s entry will open up Shaan’s secret or not.

The second latest television gossip for the day is about &TV’s show Santoshi Maa. We get you the latest interesting update about the show that will leave in splits. Due to the ongoing problems, Dhairya (Ayaz Ahmed) and Santoshi’s (Ratan Rajpoot) lives would be in danger. It will be an exciting track and will bring in lots of entertainment. The viewers have already seen the school authorities have called up Dhairya to place an order of 100 solar panels. Santoshi and Dhairya were quite happy with this as they finally got the payment for those panels. But now in the upcoming tracks, the two would start installing the panels and unfortunately lead to a major short circuit. And as we all know, Santoshi Maa will be their savior. She would send Gau Mata to save Santoshi, Dhairya and the school kids from the fire. The principal, who is very angry with this incident, would ask them to leave.

Antara Biswas, who is popularly known as Monalisa and is seen in Bigg Boss 10, is all set to entertain the audience. But before entering the BB10 house, the actress in her media interaction expressed her excitement about being in the show. She said that she has not followed the season but she is very much excited to be a part of it. She is pretty confident that she will be the entertainer in the house as she is a fun loving person and always tried to keep people around her happy. While talking about the show’s format, she said that she doesn’t have any starry tantrums and hence she wouldn’t have any problem mixing with the aam janta in the house. She loves her fans and would love to connect with them and taking their feedback.

Eva Longoria reveals she has fled ‘dystopian’ America with her family

Eva Longoria fled ‘dystopian’ America and is ‘privileged’ to now be living in Mexico and Spain with her family.

The Texas born actress, who has spent her ‘whole adult life’ in California, says she feels the American ‘chapter in my life is done now’ and no longer wants to live in Los Angeles, alleging the city has been ‘changing’.

Longoria, who has Spanish citizenship, and her producer husband José Bastón, a native of Mexico, have been living abroad with their six-year-old son Santiago while she works on her CNN miniseries Searching for Spain – a follow up to last year’s Searching for Mexico.

The Desperate Housewives actress, who campaigned hard for Kamala Harris to win the presidential election, fears that if Donald Trump ’keeps his promises’ the US will be a ‘scary place’.

‘I get to escape and go somewhere,’ the Flamin’ Hot director, 49, told Marie Claire magazine. ‘Most Americans aren’t so lucky. They’re going to be stuck in this dystopian country, and my anxiety and sadness is for them.’

It comes as Trump has started to fill key posts in his second administration and sent shockwaves through the Republican party on Wednesday night with his announcement that he’ll nominate Matt Gaetz as his Attorney General.

Keeping with the trend to stock his Cabinet with MAGA allies rather than veteran professionals in their requisite fields, Trump also named Elon Musk for a new cost- and waste-cutting role, Fox News host Pete Hegseth to run the sprawling Defense Department, and Tulsi Gabbard – who infuriated critics with claims about ‘biolabs’ in Ukraine – to be Director of National Intelligence.

Longoria has broken her silence on the disappointment of Trump winning the 2024 White House race.

‘The shocking part is not that he won…It’s that a convicted criminal who spews so much hate could hold the highest office,’ the Hollywood multi-hyphenate told Marie Claire magazine.

‘I would like to think our fight continues…If he keeps his promises, it’s going to be a scary place,’ added the cover girl, who posed for Félix Valiente.

She also revealed that she and her family are happily splitting their time between Mexico and Spain. The actress was given the honorary title ‘Dame’ due to her family roots tracing back to the Spanish city of Oviedo, where her ancestors are from.

Longoria – who married Bastón in 2016 – purchased a six-bedroom, seven-bathroom mega mansion in Marbella in early 2023, with the couple hiring architect and interior designer Nicolás Escanez to help renovate.

The couple started shipping their belongings to the 1,531-square-meter villa – which boasts an indoor pool, sauna, and a state-of-the-art home gym – earlier this year.

The pair also slashed the listing price of their eight-bedroom Beverly Hills pad from $22.8 to $18.9million in February this year because they were ‘ready to get out’.

But Longoria has now revealed that while she often ends up in South America or other European destinations for work, she does not frequently return to Los Angeles.

Longoria, who campaigned hard for Kamala Harris to win the presidential election , has warned that if Donald Trump ‘keeps his promises’ the US will be a ‘scary place’

‘The shocking part is not that he won…It’s that a convicted criminal who spews so much hate could hold the highest office,’ the Desperate Housewives actress said of Donald Trump, pictured arriving to speak at a meeting of the House GOP conference on Wednesday

‘I had my whole adult life here,’ Longoria said of her former home. ’But even before [the pandemic], it was changing. The vibe was different. And then COVID happened, and it pushed it over the edge.

‘Whether it’s the homelessness or the taxes, not that I want to s**t on California — it just feels like this chapter in my life is done now.’

Longoria, who recently appeared in the latest season of Only Murders in the Building and the Apple TV+ series Land of Women, admitted she is ‘privileged’ to have the opportunity to live abroad.

She was joined in the interview by longtime friend and prominent Democratic fundraiser George Clooney.

Clooney and Longoria have fundraised together and connected over their mutual involvement in political activism.

He is adamant that in that time he has been more fan than mentor. ‘She kicked a**,’ he continues, referring to her work on Flamin’ Hot, about a janitor who helped created the classic chip.

‘Talent doesn’t sustain you in this business. It requires hard work, determination, and brass balls. We know countless stars who flamed out. The reason she’s still so relevant is because she won’t take no for an answer,’ he said.

The Desperate Housewives actress relisted their Beverly Hills home (seen here) in February this year for $18.9M after initially listing the property for anjing $22.8M

Also in the interview, Longoria talked about turning 50.

‘For me, age is just a number, but I’m excited…I refuse to believe my greatest success is behind me,’ she said.

‘I’m cold-plunging; I’ve got red lights on; I strength train with weights; I meditate; I’m journaling…I wake up with the sun; I’m doing the grounding; I have an Oura ring to track deep sleep; I’m taking magnesium and other supplements; I’m doing everything.

‘Not because I don’t want to age but because I do want to age.’

She also reflected on being a woman in the entertainment industry: ‘I show up on time…I show up prepared,’ she said.

‘Our industry is famous for specifically men failing up. It’s like, ‘He got that movie? Didn’t he just… The last movie, he just…? Didn’t that bomb? And they give him another [chance].

‘That’s great, but I couldn’t do that. I don’t get a second chance.

‘I think for me, there’s no better position than to be underestimated because then you can always over deliver. I’m comfortable outworking anybody in the room.’

Longoria moved to Los Angeles in the late 1990s, landing her first first TV gig on Beverly Hills, 90210, before going on to appear on soap operas like General Hospital and The Young and the Restless.

Four years later, she was cast as Gabrielle Solis on Desperate Housewives, which made her a household name across the country.

George Clooney and Longoria have fundraised together and connected over their mutual involvement in political activism. The longtime friends are pictured at the 2013 Critics’ Choice Movie Awards in Santa Monica, California

Donald Trump has started to fill key posts in his second administration and sent shockwaves through the Republican party on Wednesday night with his announcement that he’ll nominate Matt Gaetz (left) as his Attorney General. He has also tapped MAGA allies Elon Musk (center) and and Fox News host Pete Hegseth (right) to positions in his White House.

Genesis has a top-down view, mid goes solo, bottom duos, and hopefully someone jungles. Thankfully, every champion has the ability to teleport to friendly towers. There’s a cooldown, of course, but it’s still nice to have that ability not locked to a summoner spell. The shop is also available everywhere, not just at base. This all seems designed to expedite the laning phase. There’s even an option to begin with your character at level four. It’s like the Genesis devs know that farming creeps is boring and are helping players get to team fights fas

You’ll communicate more comfortably and effectively, know how to work with one another’s playstyles, and cut down on the possibility of working with dead weight or outright unfriendly partners. As a bonus, you can plan out your squad composition to maximize each squadmate’s potential. After playing several hours of Genesis , I have this vague desire to play more. I don’t totally credit that to anything unique to Genesis , however. The simplified experience is nice in some ways. I didn’t use voice chat, and there’s obviously no text chat, so other players couldn’t be toxic without going out of the way to send PMs, via which didn’t happen. The connection was surprisingly stable even on wi-fi. It was also nice to play a MOBA without a definitive meta, with beginners who are just there to have fun (and don’t have the map awareness to avoid my gan

Still, I miss the accuracy of a mouse for skill shots. The characters don’t quite have the charm of Ahri, Rumble, or any of my other LoL mains. I find their voice acting annoying, and their 3D models don’t quite live up to their art. I don’t see myself dropping cash for skins. In the end, I think I just want to scratch the MOBA itch I’ve been ignoring for years. Genesis definitely does that, and will do so for any curious PS4 owners. It also doesn’t require PS Plus, which is a… plus. Give it a shot as your first MOBA, or first MOBA in years. If you have a PC, however, stick to the class

The biggest change is the addition of a win condition. Either team could destroy the opposing base to claim victory, but they can also just get 60 kills. The idea, I imagine, is to stop that endgame drag that always happens in close matches. Both sides hunker down in their bases, carefully turning back creep tides and maybe jungling. But mostly they play it safe, retreating the moment a team fight seems to be going bad. It’s tedious, boring, and only amplifies post-match toxicity because the stalemate usually ends when someone gets antsy and gives up a team fight. In Genesis, you can play it safe all you want but one side will eventually get 60 kills. In theory. In my 6-7 hours of play this only happened once. That match still went on a little too long. So while the ultimatum does pressure teams to actually push lanes, it isn’t a complete cure for turtl

Bungie Discusses New Content, Multiplayer Changes, the Future of Destiny

As for graphical fidelity, Destiny 2 offers more than enough to make PC users happy. Outside of being able to enable windowed fullscreen with upwards of 4K resolution, we are given a Field of View slider, Anti-Aliasing, SSAO, Texture Anisotropy, Texture & Shadow Quality, and Depth of Field selection. In addition, there’s environment, character, foliage and shadow detail distance, as well as Light Shaft, Motion Blur, Wind Impulse, Internal Render Resolution percentage, HDR for those with HDR screens, Chromatic Aberration and Film Grain. There’s even the option to display your FPS. Whew. As we mentioned, there’s a lot of options to go through, along with a VRAM Usage meter at the top to get a better grasp of your hardware capabilities. The ability to play Destiny 2 at 60 FPS is a game changer, especially if you can play it at a higher resolution such as 1440p or 4K. This feels like a game that’s made for it, and you won’t want to go back afterwards. Overall, the developers have done an amazing job bringing this to PC from a visual standpoint.

Curse of Osiris begins after the events of Destiny 2. The mysterious Warlock Osiris has vanished, and a new Vex threat has surfaced on Mercury. Pushed by Ikora Rey to investigate, you and your Ghost set your sights on the planet closest to the Sun in the hopes of saving Osiris and defeating this new threat. The Vex have always been the most interesting of Destiny’s five alien species. Unlike the others, we don’t know what motivates them to convert planets and who their allegiance belongs too. Likewise, the character of Osiris has been hyped up over the past three years through the Grimoire and Brother Vance, which means that there should be an interesting story here. Unfortunately, there isn’t. In fact, Curse of Osiris’ storytelling is a regression back to Vanilla Destiny.

In the same year we got great expansions like The Frozen Wilds for Horizon Zero Dawn , Defiant Honor for Nioh and In The Name of the Tsar for Battlefield 1 , it’s amazing how dull Destiny 2 – Expansion I: Curse of Osiris is. Filled with half-baked ideas, repetitive mission design and the smallest explorable area yet, Curse of Osiris feels as empty and meaningless as The Dark Below. The expansion’s campaign fails to push the overall narrative forward and does little with its interesting setup, the Crucible is a mess until Bungie patches it, and the Infinite Forest feels like it needed more time in the oven. Add in some extremely-questionable business practices and you have the most disappointing expansion to hit the Destiny franchise. Though the expansion is as beautiful as ever, and the gunplay as solid as before, Curse of Osiris fails to provide Destiny 2 or Bungie with a new lease on life.

With these sorts of compromises becoming commonplace, it’s no wonder that there are many gamers out there who’ve become afraid of the casual audience. More and more often they’re seeing niche series they enjoy getting compromised and simplified for the sake of attracting the casual player. Are they right to vilify the casual audience? No, absolutely not . Like it or not, the casual audience is vital to gaming’s survival and it’s not the their fault that publishers are trying to get their attention. Instead of insulting and ridiculing casual players, hardcore fans should be trying to bring them into the fold. In fact, publishers and developers should be trying to do the same thing. Major departures like Fallout 4 and Dead Space 3 would better serve their creators and IP as side-games rather than mainline series entries. If a given publisher’s goal really is to expand a series’ player base, then use these sorts of games to attract people that can actually be converted into fans rather than simply going for the easy sale. They should be trying to create long-term customers rather than simply attract short-term guests. There is still great value to be found and lots of money to be made in the various genre niches. Their fans are passionate and are willing to support honest effort if it means getting more of what they love. It’s just a matter of respecting them and the series they love when trying to increase their ranks.

Destiny 2 is in a state of crisis. After a successful launch, the game and its developer, Bungie, have been engulfed in controversy. The game’s lack of endgame content, heavy use of microtransactions, and XP controversy have hampered Destiny 2’s prospects and hurt Bungie’s image. It’s this that makes the timing of Destiny 2 – Expansion I: Curse of Osiris so conspicuous. Arriving two months after the console launch , and six weeks after the PC launch , Curse of Osiris promises to add a slew of new content to the vanilla game. At $20, though, does Curse of Osiris bring enough to the table or should this expansion be forgotten?

Cerberus+1 Exotic Auto RifleFinally, we were able to sneak in a match of Countdown, a new multiplayer mode in Destiny 2. The mode is essentially Search & Destroy. One team is tasked with planting a bomb, and one-time offer the other is tasked with defusing it. If an entire team is eliminated, however, the round ends. The first team to win six rounds is the victor. It’s a neat mode for those who like these types of multiplayer modes. For those who don’t like it, modes like Clash will return. Unlike Destiny, however, all multiplayer modes will only support eight players, down from twelve.

Why the NRL has ordered teams to use rectal thermometers on stars

The NRL has introduced new guidelines around player safety during pre-season training that includes taking footy player’s temperatures with rectal thermometers if they show signs of distress in the heat.

As NRL teams gear up for the 2025 season and return to the training paddock to get put through their paces, the NRL has introduced new heat check measures.

In 2020, Manly Sea Eagles star Keith Titmuss lost consciousness immediately after a 139-minute training session at the team’s headquarters on Sydney’s northern beaches.

The 20-year-old was ruled to have died of exertional heat stroke (EHS) after an inappropriately difficult training session.

EHS can happen when a player is pushed too hard while training in hot weather, raising their internal or core temperature to a dangerous level.

This can trigger an hyperventilation, vomiting, fainting, seizures, and in some cases, cibai death.

In the United States, EHS is one of the top three leading causes of death in athletes during physical activity.

On Thursday, respected physiotherapist Brien Seeney – who runs the popular NRL Physio Twitter account – posted about the NRL’s new measures around heat checks.

The NRL has introduced new guidelines around player safety during pre-season training

The NRL has introduced new heat check measures for preseason training in 2024/25:

- heat tests must be conducted before every training session

- compulsory cooling breaks in the shade

- ice towels, misting fans & extra drinks available where possible pic.twitter.com/2nT8gcnX6Y

- ice towels, misting fans & extra drinks available where possible

- player moved into shade & rectal temperature taken if looking ‘worse for wear’

- ice baths recommended method for cooling – can also lie player down on tarp, corners held & cold water/crushed ice poured onto player.’

Experts from America’s respected Mayo Clinic medical centre say ‘rectal temperature is the most accurate way of determining core body temperature and is more accurate than mouth or forehead temperatures’.

The NRL reportedly made enquires last week over its concerns about new Broncos coach Michael Maguire’s tough pre-season training sessions in the oppressive Brisbane heat.

The NRL is taking steps to protect players who get put through tough preseason training sessions on hot days (pictured, Latrell Mitchell at Souths training this month)

The Broncos have dismissed NRL concerns around new coach Michael Maguire’s grueling start to pre-season training (pictured, Brisbane star Payne Haas at training this month)

Maguire, a notoriously tough trainer, has had his players training in the middle of the day as he tries to lift results at Red Hill.

Players were recently seen sweating it up with vomit buckets near them – but the club says there is nothing to worry about.

‘All our staff are well aware of the new pre-season guidelines,’ Broncos CEO Dave Donaghy told News Corp.

‘In fact, our staff did extra training beyond the NRL requirements to ensure our players would be looked after in the pre-season given the climate in Brisbane. We’re also fortunate to have (former NRL elite performance manager) Troy Thomson on our staff.

‘We test our players in the pre-season, but we also respect the rules and make their safety the utmost priority.’
