PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds: How to Win

This thing can pull off some impressive trick shots that would look great on screenshots. Either way, if players know how to use it, it can be used to an advantage. They can be found in garages around the

The original Injustice: Gods Among Us was a great concept well-executed: a brutal fighting game from the creators of Mortal Kombat starring characters from the DC Comics universe. Injustice 2 ups the ante with a great lineup of fighters and the same vicious combat as before, which proves more than enough to make the title the best fighting game of the y

A similar tactic duo players can use is leading enemies to a hidden partner. For example, one player can hide in a house, and another can lead enemies to a surprise attack that hopefully results in some easy ki

The Spetsnaz Helmet is based off the Russian Rhys-T Helmet. It reduces harm up to 55 percent and is level three. It will protect the person wearing it up until the last point of durability. It can be found in military loot zones and care packages. It is likely a rare find and will take some intense looting to grab, but the benefits seem to outweigh the c

Avoid Team Killing – While purposefully killing one’s teammates is obviously frowned upon in PUBG , there are many instances where team killing can be accidental. One common way players end up killing each other on accident is when firing out of a car, as players will stick their whole bodies out of the window to aim at passing enemies. Make sure to communicate with teammates to avoid accidentally blowing them to pieces, especially since team killing may cause you to join the millions of other banned players in the g

You can’t hide underwater so easily anymore! Air only lasts 15 seconds now when submersed instead of 35 seconds and once you’ve run out of air, you’ll now take 10 damage per second (up from four damage per second). And to recover from being submersed, players need 4 seconds instead of 1. Needless to say, you’re in trouble if you’re trying to escape or hide in water while being trac

And finally, there’s a new weapon in PUBG and it’s a DMR called the SLR. The SLR respawns regularly in the game world and uses 7.62mm ammo. It holds 10 bullets per magazine (20 bullets when extended) and is the most powerful regular DMR (more powerful than SKS) but has more rec

That said, while the actual storyline is mostly underwhelming and locked into a relatively predictable plot progression, it does (as mentioned) make room for some truly slick combat scenarios that take advantage of the active-duty SEALs’ training and battlefield experience. There’s an authority to the combat sequences (via engrossing frontline action) that few military films have been able to capture in recent memory (with the exception of a few projects such as Ridley Scott’s Black Hawk Down ). As an example, phase 1 of the SEALs’ extended mission sees the team infiltrating an enemy compound – and features a number of unique flourishes that ground the experience and offer some genuinely tense as well as cathartic mid-fight mome

Nintendo may be one of the biggest companies in video games, but there was a time where the company’s place in the industry could have been in jeopardy. 1981′s Donkey Kong was Nintendo’s strongest foot into the arcade market up to that point, introducing gamers to two of the most iconic characters in gaming. Universal, though, felt that Donkey Kong was too similar to its own King Kong , and launched a suit against the comp

It’s easy to recommend Act of Valor to military enthusiasts and visit here servicemen, who will no doubt see themselves in the characters on screen, and action fans will also find plenty to like in the movie’s various combat sequences. However, moviegoers expecting a fully-formed storyline with compelling character drama may ultimately be underwhelmed by the very moments that other members in the audience will find most compelling. As a result, the overall response to Act of Valor is likely to spark one of the most divisive movie conversations of 2

The story follows a team of Navy SEALs on a rescue mission – one that quickly evolves into a multifaceted, globe-trotting operation to stop Islamic extremists from infiltrating U.S. borders and enacting a string of devastating terrorist attacks in a number of America’s most populated cities. It’s a thin but serviceable plot that’s designed to put forth one gripping set-piece after another (infiltration, reconnaissance, interrogation, etc.) but hardly develops the film’s characters. The overarching extremist threat isn’t explored in any more depth than basic “good versus evil” cliches and viewers are never privy to the terrorist leader’s larger motivations, i.e. anything more nuanced than “America is evil” rheto

Ultimately, the film’s greatest asset, the real life Navy SEALs (and their insight), create a strange mix of successes and failures that at times enhance the experience and on other occasions don’t translate very well from reality to film. Much like the acting, there are moments where the filmmakers overindulged in reality and undermined immersion – offering a few flat-out all too “convenient” moments that probably have occurred on the battlefield (one involving a close-range RPG, especially), but come across as emotionally manipulative when viewed as part of a manufactured film project. Similarly, while the film’s thin video game-esque storyline plays out like a mission logbook, and showcases the various aspects of military ops, it never bothers to develop the characters beyond anything but basic stereotypes – meaning that even though the story is on the surface realistic, there’s very little for certain portions of the audience to connect with in the moment or ponder once the credits r
