Warframe is a third-person action game by developer Digital Extremes, that mixes shooter and melee combat, with fantastical powers, RPG elements and even looting. We’re about to give them a landscape and they’ve wanted that. Even if they didn’t know they wanted that, the way they give feedback in level design, you can tell they’re itching for space. They want more.

In the end, the latest Prime update for Warframe is a worthy one. Outside of status damaging tornados, Zephyr is perhaps spread out a bit too thin, not necessarily doing anything better than anyone else. With that said, she is well rounded and a fast character to play as, so you’ll have a good variety of abilities at your disposal. She can glide, blast enemies, protect herself and take care of mobs with ease. What more do you want? Outside of the character herself, the Kronen Prime is unfortunately a less than ideal melee weapon thanks to it being outclassed in almost every situation, but on the positive side, Tiberon Prime is a phenomenal main weapon to bring into almost any scenario. Digital Extremes has done a fantastic job reworking Zephyr and giving her own Prime version; you probably won’t find her in the meta anytime soon, but she’s still a strong addition to the immense catalogue regardless.

Absolutely not. You’re getting a Grattler with 2% more critical chance, a 0.1x higher crit multiplier, and the removal of a spool-up time, although the weapon fires a little slower. For how much work it takes to kill or convert a Lich, that’s just not worth it. It does have double the magazine and reload rate, meaning it’s much better for ground missions, yet the weapon’s innate punch through really harms its AoE killing potential. Only get this weapon for Mastery points or if you really like the default Gratt

I think it will affect it dramatically. So much of the game is built around the core that we have, and it boils down to a player going out and getting resources and finding stuff. We’re still going to have that there, but it’s executed in a more… A way where the player has more agency to go visit and go back where there’s no jarring transition. You’re going out into the plains and you can find resources and interact with the environment in, well you saw the fishing. All of these are going to amplify the current gameplay. You’ll be able to kill things in cooler ways which is usually what they’re looking for.

So, we started early this year, probably between three and six months from idea to pen on paper. We essentially started the year off with the biggest problem of all: what are we going to do to keep our veterans happy? We can write a quest to keep them happy for a week, or can think what’s the next push. We’ve pushed in all sorts of directions and they all have given us different results, mostly positive, but you can see when something doesn’t have that staying power from someone who loves our game for it’s core, that fluid gameplay and stuff, but in this case, this caters to that too a degree you can’t get any idea.
