The flagship modes of Oh My Godheads are Capture The Head and King of the Head. In both the goal is possess the head of a god on one of the ten purposely tiny boards. The gods are all based on real-world mythology and each has their own power when they are picked up – powers that often doesn’t work in favor of the god head owner. The head of the Hawaiian god Kanaloa will turn its user invisible but Egyptian god Bastet will reverse the controls of its possessor at random. These powers add some extra level of strategy to either delivering the head to your team’s altar in Capture the Head or holding onto it as long as possible in King of the Head. **Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl ** was announced with a bombastic new trailer. The game is a platform fighter in the vein of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and features characters from across the Nickelodeon cartoon catalog. In total, there will be 20 different characters in the game, though the developers only showed off 14 of them in this initial onslaught. Alongside the character reveals, the team also gave fans a look at some of the stages they’ll be playing

That is until you notice the symbol for The Order of the White Lotus in the background. Check out the picture below and compare it to the scene in the trailer – looks like we’re headed for a scrap in the Impenetrable City, eh?

That’s just a stage, though. I mean, it would be weird to have Avatar stages and no Avatar characters, but it’s not necessarily impossible. The first stage shown off for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl seems to be related to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles . Though it could also just be a basic stage that’s not related to any property. Each character is shown popping up on a rooftop location. In several shots, the characters are also battling across the stage, which means it will likely be playable. Next, is at least one stage based on Spongebob Squarepants . Early in the trailer, a few characters are fighting on a pirate ship. Later, the characters are fighting through the Jelly Fish Fields. Avatar: The Last Airbender is my favourite series of all time – I watched the whole 61-episode run three times during the pandemic and have an enormous tattoo based on The Tale of Iroh lining the inside of my right bicep. I’m admittedly a little less into The Legend of Korra , but it’s still probably in my top ten TV shows. This is a universe I’ve devoted hundreds of hours to, and I’ll be damned if Nick is bringing out a Smash -esque brawler that forgets about some of the best characters in animation history.
